Trama:
Kosaku Hatanaka è un pugile dal pugno debole, poiché debole è anche la sua volontà a rispettare la dieta necessaria per praticare tale sport; prima di un incontro, ad esempio, non sa fare a meno di ingurgitare persino hamburger poco salubri, col risultato di aumentare di peso e dover competere in classi di peso più elevate, ma con scarso successo; non appena riceve un colpo, infatti, il ragazzo vomita e perde l'incontro. Un giorno il giovane incontra Suor Angela, novizia di un convento locale; se da un lato Sorella Angela cerca di aiutare Hatanaka nei suoi buoni propositi, dall'altro pare che proprio a causa del ragazzo il percorso di noviziato della donna sarà sempre più arduo.
